About MJI

Medical Journal of Indonesia (MJI) is a leading peer-reviewed and open access journal as the official scientific journal of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia in collaboration with German-Indonesian Medical Association.

  • Broad readership and scope. This journal publishes peer-reviewed articles, such as basic medical research, clinical research, community research, case report/series, review article, and brief communication. This journal also publishes other sections such as, editorial, correspondence, and commentary, which are only internally reviewed.
  • Open Access. All articles are available to the public for free to provide immediate, worldwide, and barrier-free access for readers.
  • Online First. Articles do not have to wait for the next issue to be published. Online First service enables authors and readers to get immediate online publication.
  • Authors retain the copyright of the published articles.The author(s) give Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia as publisher the right of first publication of all published material and licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International.
  • All articles have unique DOI numbers. Medical Journal of Indonesia is registered with CrossRef.
